As of March 1, 2007, Mitch Sterner will be relocating to the Eastern Shore Office to begin work with Potteiger-Raintree, Inc.’s Coating Division. His responsibilities will include handling the business day-to-day operations, estimating, project management. Mitch’s primary business focus will be in exterior renovations, deck coatings (standard and custom), spray application of polyurea and industrial coatings applications.
Mitch began working with Potteiger-Raintree, Inc. in May of 2000 after graduating from Western Maryland College (now known as McDaniel College) with a BA in Business Administration. He worked in the Corporate Office located in Glen Rock, PA for two years as a project manger and estimator. In 2002, he relocated to our Upper Marlboro, MD location to continue work as a project manager and estimator. He has been involved with numerous projects, varying in size, scope, and difficulty over this time period.
In August of 2004, Mitch traveled to Florida to work with Murton Roofing Corp. in response to substantial Hurricane damage in the Port Charlotte, FL area. He worked as an estimator for several months in this area and then traveled to the West Palm Beach, FL area and worked as a project manager through April 2005. Overall, he spent about nine months in Florida performing a wide range of tasks.
In February and March of 2006, Mitch traveled and worked at the Naval Base in Gulfport, MS for 4 weeks as part of Tecta America’s efforts, in response to Hurricane Katrina. His work consisted of project management and quality control in association with multiple roof repairs and re-roofing projects.
